It was in Saint-Malo that the events took place. A complaint was filed by the local SPA and a reminder of the law was made to the teenager.
On January 15, a 14-year-old teenager was summoned to the Saint-Malo police station after throwing a cat from the top of a cliff. A particularly cruel act which could have cost the life of the animal.
A fall filmed
While the teenager threw the tomcat about ten meters below, his friends quietly filmed the scene in order to share it later on social networks. It is also thanks to these videos that the culprit was found and summoned.
The Saint-Malo SPA decided to file a complaint against the young man who was then entitled to a reminder of the law.
A safe cat
Named Cliff (in homage to what he lived), the tomcat is a real miracle child. He is currently safe at the SPA and is doing well. He could be offered for adoption within a fortnight, until all the examinations were done and he could regain his bearings after this traumatic event.
