Alerted for a cat rescue
The 30 Million Friends Foundation made a dreadful discovery last week. 41 hungry and injured cats lived in appalling conditions.
In a house in the South-West of France in La Teste-de-Buch, the Foundation’s teams struggled to support the vision of horror that stretched out before them. They found 41 cats locked in a dirty, dark room, enduring excruciating pain.
Thanks to the intervention of the 30 Million Friends Foundation, cats were saved. Unfortunately, only 3 cats are doing well on the 41.
Cats “survived” in an unsanitary house
When the Foundation’s teams arrived on the scene, they discovered a house plunged into darkness from which a pestilential odor emerged.
Inside, the floor was covered with clothes and abandoned objects on which were crouched 41 unbearably thin cats.
The poor animals had lost their eyes or ears and others were dead, in an advanced state of decomposition in the same room as the others.
A police investigation has been launched
It was a report that enabled the Foundation to be alerted to this terrible situation. The police intervened on the scene and an investigation is underway.
The mistress of cats is already known to the police. She didn’t want to say anything except to “let herself be overwhelmed”.
The Foundation filed a complaint for abandonment, mistreatment and serious mistreatment of pets.
