Boulette had disappeared in Saint-Brice-Courcelles, in the Marne, during a move of his masters, eleven years ago. They had then looked everywhere for her and then hoped to see her return, but over the years, they had ended up mourning their cat. The couple had adopted other cats.
A few days ago, Alexia announced at the microphone of France Blue Champagne-Ardenne an incredible twist. She and her husband indeed received a phone call from a veterinarian: “I was told that my cat had been found, but mine were at home. When the person said it was of Boulette, I cried and I could not pronounce a word “. “When you mourn an animal and find it, it’s a wonderful gift,” she says.
The feline lived 500 meters from their home
And even more surprisingly, the cat, now 14 years old, still lived in Saint-Brice Courcelles. Indeed, a resident of the town would have taken care of it for a year and a half. However, “This woman lives 500 meters from us! We could have seen her more than once”, Alexia is surprised. And despite his now advanced age and such a long absence, their dear Boulette did not take long to regain his marks with his masters and his young master, Marius, born during his absence.
