This kitten and this otter
This friendship is very unexpected, but it does not fail to touch us!
In Japan, the river otter Sakura and the cat Mochi live in perfect harmony with their master ma ko. This Youtuber has over 560,000 subscribers and he regularly posts cute content with his two best friends.
The otter seeks comfort from the kitten
In the video, the two companions are taking a nap on the sofa. Finally, especially Mochi the kitten, because Sakura does everything to get as close as possible to her four-legged friend.
She curls up against his back and runs her little paw across his chest. Mochi is far too wrapped up in his nap to pay attention, and the more he falls asleep the more the otter tries to hug him.

Very clearly, during his entire nap, the kitten is not disturbed in the least by his friend by the river. Sakura does not fall asleep completely and keeps an eye on the camera before finally settling down peacefully next to Mochi.
It is precisely at this moment of calm that the kitten decides to wake up and gets up, without glancing at the otter, however well attached to its back. He stretches and jumps off the couch, quickly followed by Sakura, determined not to lose track!
In another video posted by the Youtuber last December, we can see that Sakura is looking for contact, this time with my ko, her master, or at least her host family.
If the otter seems to have a happy, well-surrounded life with my ko and Mochi, maybe she would be even happier if she had another otter family member to keep her company!
