Throwing his session of virtual hearings, a Texas judge had to deal with a little disappointment … “Mr. Ponton, it seems to me that you have a filter activated in your settings …”, one of his interlocutors declares to him during an exchange by interposed videos. Indeed, instead of the judge, it is an animated chat that talks with the participants! “I don’t know how to remove the filter, my assistant is trying to do it, but …”, then reacts the judge, visibly embarrassed. “Know that I am ready to continue, I am here for real, I am not a cat!”, he then retorts.
Amused, his interlocutors try to help him. “I think if you clicked on the arrow next to…”, one of them tells him. All’s well that ends well, the lawyer quickly fixed his blunder and regained human form. “All the faces appeared except mine, I was a cat. And I was like ‘oh, ok… what is this?'”, comments the latter after the incident, acknowledging that he is “not a great technician” and was unaware of the existence of filters.
