This week, the Lyon SPA refuge shared a great story on its Twitter account. That of a cat named Minou.
A cat missing for 5 years
Dropped off at the SPA by an individual after years of wandering, Minou was examined by a veterinarian who quickly discovered he had an ID chip. Good news for the tomcat, declared lost for 5 years by his humans who had lost hope of ever seeing him again.
During these 5 years of wandering, the tomcat stayed less than 5 kilometers from his home and was fed by inns. A life now over since Minou, thanks to his chip, was able to find his family who had a hard time believing this stroke of fate!
One thing is certain: without his microchip, Minou would never have found his family.
