The Association for the Defense of Abandoned Animals in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) recently reported a truly shocking case. It happened on January 11, as storm Filomena was leaving the Spanish capital.
By this time, the city was completely covered with snow and icy. A dangerous situation for everyone, especially for those who live on the streets.
On January 11, workers who were getting out of a Burger King had the shock of their lives when they discovered a black cat under the ice. The latter was frozen and barely breathing.
Fortunately, the workers reacted very quickly and managed to get him out of his ice trap, just in time to save his life. The cat was suffering from extreme hypothermia at the time, but these workers managed to save him from the ice and wrapped him in whatever they could to restore warmth to his body. Very quickly, the cat was then taken to a veterinary clinic.
A miraculous cure
Once at the clinic, the cat was taken care of and immediately warmed up and put on a drip. After only one night, as if by a miracle, he was already much better. The vets, surprised, then announced that it should not have any after-effects!
When he is ready, this cat will be offered for adoption for a well-deserved new start, in the meantime he is resting and regaining his strength!
