She finds her pussy missing for 20 years
A cat who has been missing since 2001 was able to spend her last hours in the company of her mistress.
The pretty cat Phœbe was discovered on March 5 in a field in Bridgemere in the county of Cheshire in England. She was brought back to an RSPCA center which was able to scan her chip.
Two days of reunion full of emotion
Phoebe was seriously ill, but she was still able to spend two days comfortably at her home in Nantwich with her mistress Christine Ball. 59-year-old Christine said she enjoyed the time with her pretty pussy, even though it was far too short.
For Lee Stewart, the director of the refuge, it is a great first to reunite an animal and its owner after 20 years.
Phoebe was two years old when she disappeared in 2001. To have survived so long on the streets, someone probably had to take care of her.
Christine had moved heaven and earth when her cat disappeared, so when 20 years later the phone rang to tell her that she had finally been found, she couldn’t believe it.
Relieve his suffering
The RSPCA identified Phoebe using her microchip and then had her examined by a veterinarian. Unfortunately, examinations revealed that the poor cat had a brain tumor. Phoebe had to be euthanized because of the pain she was enduring.
Christine said she was very sad to lose her little cat again just after finding her. But spending time with her, even for two days, has done her the most good.
She is very grateful to the person who took care of and nurtured her for all these years!
