He buys a GPS tracker
Andel Kindel had been scared of a lifetime when his adorable tomcat was missing for 2 days, so he decided not to repeat his mistake.
Without news of his cat Alex, Andel had looked for him all over the neighborhood and had been bloody hot. Fortunately, after 2 days the cat had finally come home.
He invests a large sum in a GPS tracker
Andel measured how lucky he was to find his cat in great shape. But he learned from his mistakes, and he spent the sum of $ 180 so that he could still geotag his cat. He attached the tracker to his cat Alex’s collar to be more relaxed when it comes to moving his cat.
The tracker, which connects to a phone app, was working fine until Alex came back injured and without his GPS.
He doesn’t understand what’s going on
When Andel logged into the app, he was surprised to see the signal moving quickly around town.
At first Andel thought someone else had put it on his cat. Later he realized that the GPS signal was in front of him, but when he looked in the street he saw nothing …
Eventually, it was thanks to the help of his vet that Andel figured out what was going on: he had told her that Alex’s right paw injury was caused by a rat bite. The tracker had in fact been stolen, but not by one of his neighbors. At least, none of his human neighbors.
This explained why the signal was weak and Andel couldn’t see the animal carrying it: it was underground, deep in a rat’s stomach!
