This family takes turns all night to feed a dying kitten
In this family, everyone got down to saving the life of a kitten that had very little chance of survival.
When this boy received a text from one of his buddies, he had trouble making out the shape in the photo. Then he realized that it was a kitten abandoned in a trash can, so he immediately warned his father.
The whole family is mobilized
Once the boy’s father saw the photo, he knew he had to intervene. The little kitten was hungry and his new father did everything he could to get him to suck on the bottle. If the kitten didn’t suck, it would die for sure.
Fortunately, the family had done this sort of thing before and they had kitten milk in their cupboards. They called the vet and told him about the kitten. Alas, the vet announced, “This kitten will not live. ”
He said repeatedly that the kitten was way too young and needed his mother, but the father persisted. They wanted to do whatever they could to try to save the little kitten.
So all night long, all the family members took turns bottle-feeding the kitten. In the morning, they were delighted to see that the kitten had managed to make it through the night!

They were then able to take him to the St Bonnie shelter who agreed to welcome the kitten. Their biggest challenge was keeping her tiny body temperature. He ate well, but at such a young age, staying warm is just as important as eating.
Volunteers at St Bonnie’s Shelter worked very hard to make sure the kitten was monitored around the clock.
The family received news and photos of the kitten every day. They were so happy to know that this kitten was a little warrior!
Finally, a few weeks later, the good news arrived. The shelter volunteers called the family to let them know that they could come and pick up the kitten who was now in great shape!
The family came running and they were so happy to see that the little guy had grown up. They officially adopted the kitten and named it Oscar.
Oscar has now found his home for life and his cat and dog siblings he loves to play tricks on!
